Junior Counselor

This is the first step in the ranks of our staff. Over the course of the summer you will be partnered with an experienced staff member and, under the guidance of our Junior Counselor Director, you will learn the skills necessary to be a great counselor.

This is a paid position open to the applicants with the following qualifications.

  1. You are 17 years old.
  2. You have some experience and an interest in working with children.
  3. You have current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.

Counselors

Probably the most important role at camp, counselors are directly responsible for a group of 5-7 boys at camp. In addition you teach an instruction at camp and (if qualified) will lead canoe trips into the wilderness.

This position is open to the applicants with the following qualifications:

  1. You are at least 18 years old.
  2. You have some experience and an interest in working with children.
  3. You have a current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.
  4. Previous camp/outdoor experience is an asset.

Activities Specialists

Your skills in your given activity make you a specialist whose focus is to oversee and lead the instruction for campers and staff alike. If qualified, you'll have the chance to lead canoe trips into the wilderness.

This position is open to the applicants with the following qualifications:

  1. You are at least 18 years old.
  2. You have some experience and an interest in working with children.
  3. Work history, certifications and an interest in chosen activity.
  4. You have a current CPR and Standard First Aid certifications.
  5. Previous camp/outdoor experience is an asset.

Head Counselor

A Head Counselor is responsible for a group of counselors and in turn, their campers. Head Counselors are charged with ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of their camp section – a challenging and rewarding task offering lots of scope and opportunities to take charge and assume leadership.

In addition you'll teach an instruction at camp and, if qualified, will lead canoe trips into the wilderness.

This position is open to the applicants with the following qualifications:

  1. You are at least 18 years old.
  2. You have experience and an interest in working with children and at summer camp.
  3. You have a current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.
  4. Previous camp/outdoor experience is an asset.
