Driving Directions to Camp Nominingue

Driving From Ottawa
The two shortest routes are almost identical in distance – 125 miles (200 km). Driving to camp by one route and returning by the other makes an interesting and enjoyable circuit.
Option 1: Travel from Ottawa to Buckingham, Quebec, or take Route 17 and the ferry at Masson-Buckingham to Route 309. Follow route 309 and 311 through Lac-du-Cerf to Lac-des-Ecorces. Follow Route 117 south to the second turn-off to Nominingue, about 3 miles (4.8 km) past Ste-Veronique. Drive through the village and, where the highway turns left, at the Co-op Hardware Store, continue straight ahead on chemin des Mésanges. This is the easiest and probably most scenic - about 3 hours.
Option 2: Take Route 17 and the ferry at Masson to Route 148. Turn north at Montebello and follow Route 323 to St-Jovite (Mont-Tremblant). For the remainder of this route, see below "From Montreal".
Driving From Montreal
The drive to camp is 120 miles (193 km) and, under normal conditions, takes about 2-1/4 hours.
Follow the Laurentian Autoroute and Highway 117 to the town of L'Annonciation which is about 30 miles (48 km) past St-Jovite. One mile past L'Annonciation turn left at a flashing light onto Route 321 to Nominingue. You are now 8.7 miles (14 km) from camp. You will pass Grand Lac Nominingue and cross over a concrete bridge. One mile beyond the bridge, as you pass the Nominingue Golf Course, look for our sign and turn left onto chemin des Mésanges. About 1/2 mile down this road you will see our entrance gate on the right. The camp is located on the north shore of Petit Lac Nominingue.
